Sith Holo 4/5 WP
by credits on Mar.13, 2010, under Swg Credits
I really need help on this one. I’m getting really desperate and I’m basically slowly selling off everything I have to try and make enough to buy one, but I’m still a way off from being able to. I have been back for about a month and a half and have been hunting this almost every day. On days when I have nothing going on, I loot ATK. When I’m gone or asleep, I run it AFK. Recently I even activated my second account to form a group. So I build a group of 4, two of my characters and their two bots. This increases the spawn rates. I need this because it seems that I can go entire days of non-stop looting with not a single holo on the static spawns so I go in the wilderness and force massive spawns of Nightsisters.
Basically I’m wondering what kind of exploits I can do to make lots of money. Either that or is there something I can do that will force the holo to drop for me? lol. I dunno, I’ve asked lots of people and they all tell me to do what I’m already doing. I figured I’d ask you all.
Well I can’t really check it out at the moment. I’m in need of a new Jedi suit and so I can’t at the moment solo the DWB very well. Plus all I’ve really been doing is selling a bunch of things and I think I have enough now to just buy this thing. I mean I know the BLs and PLCs sell for a lot, but they’re quite rare as well. I mean they’re rarer than jetpack bases. And they CAN be as rare as say a Sith 4/5 Meditate. I mean I’ve heard of people going till they’re inventories filled up and not getting a single liquid which means you could be at it for a while.
I guess it’s a yay in the sense that sure I can go and get these liquids and probably sell them quicker than some of the items I’ve been selling recently, but the time and effort to actually getting the liquids would only be slightly better than getting a Sith 4/5 WP.

Heres a good question what and how do the devs figure this out? I mean your running around your character leveling and now you get banned?? How the heck do they know its not you? IP?? Heres a funny one I purchased credits a month ago a month later my account would not connect. Sent a ticket in devs were saying I had purchased credits I never replied to that question however once I changed my IP address my account worked again??
I have seen several people get banned and get their accounts back. The thing the GM will look at is the history of your account as far as being banned, suspended or investigated. So long as you are polite to the GM when talking to him and haven’t been in trouble before they will typically allow you to have your account back.
The kicker though for your case will be that they take away any levels or credits earned through the service.
Another tip they respond better to phone calls rather than the in game support.
Armor Revealed
by credits on Jan.04, 2010, under SWG GUIDE
All of the information here is gleaned from watching hours of combat spam. it gives me something to do while I cue up specials. I hear a lot of people wondering about armor, and most dont know how it works. I just figured it out recently as well.
Im going to break it down by stats found on all armor:
Durability
All armor has durability. Most of us have seen its effects. Armor in this game seems to decay in some relation to the damage it takes. The more damage, the faster it decays. As the armors get better, they increase in absorb, and also increasse in durability to make up for it. Use a repair kit to replenish durability, but be prepared to break it and have to buy a new piece.
Protection
All armor has a an AC of 1(as far as I can see, prove me wrong on this) It will absorb 50% of all damage not listed in vulnerabilities PLUS any percentage listed in Protection. Say if you have 10% kinetic(this is a value found on chitin). Damage dealt is 100, the armor will take 50 damage plus 5 more damage. It will say “Blah blah armor absorbs 55 damage” in the combat spam. The offshoot from this system is that small damages get lowered by less than large damages. Which is partly the reason I didnt notice before. For most hits, it will look like your armor absorbs 50%, but at higher damages the secondary number is in effect as well. At first I thought it was a rounding error
a. Special protection
all armors have a type of damage that they are best at absorbing(bone: energy, mabari: heat and blast). I believe this is also where layers will come into effect later(when they work).
b. Normal Protection
this is where the natural defense of the armor shows up. All of the damage types that the armor absorbs are listed here.
Vulnerability
These damage types are what the armor will Not absorb. You will be hit for full damage with these types of attacks. Even if your AC is 1. Some very rare damage types will fall into vulnerabilities, that I can only see players doing. Have you seen an electricity attack from an npc? I havent.
Encumbrance
a. Health This number is subtracted from the secondary stats. It will reduce Strength and Constitution by the given amount. Effected mostly by Chestplates.
b. Action Same as above, only for Quickness and stamina. Leggings and boots effect these areas the most
c. Mind Same as health only for focus and willpower. Helms effect this area greatly
Encumbrance will lower stats by a huge amount for good armor. Even experimented suits will have a large effect. I have a very rough suit of chitin right now, and my strength, constitution, quickness and willpower are dipping into the 100-200 range while my focus is like under 100. This will get better, but I would expect it to only halve, which is still significant(at least for a brawler)
Remember that both creatures and players have armor. The above rules still apply. If you have high enough creature knowledge, you can see all of the stats that matter on creatures. To help you decide what to attack and what not to, as well as pinpoint the vulnerabilities. I assume most people that hunt have no idea what the creatures armor is, and wonder why their lightning gun isnt hurting the creature, or their new blaster of armageddon is only tickling the giant sand beetle.

WHAT TO DO FIRST
Obviously the first thing to do is to buy some grenades. This is not as easy as it sounds, as grenades are not made very often (it takes the weaponsmith a long time and a lot of resources). The way i found grenades was to advertise on the trade forums or just ask Commando’s if they knew a place to buy grenades. Make sure when you are buying the ‘nades that they are about 200-800 damage with a speed of 2.0-2.9. Dont bother to get these grenades sliced, unless you know someone who can give you free slices or you are a smuggler. For those of you who would prefer more bang for your buck, look around for some Grenade Powerups. If you cannot find any, a Master Artisan should be able to make some. The best way to buy grenades is in factory crates of 25. They will often be priced between 15k and 40k.
Ok, now we have some grenades. But what is the best and quickest way to use them? Go to your toolbar. If you havent extended it into 2 bars, do that now. On the top left of your toolbar there should be 2 little arrows. Press one of these arrows until you find an empty or unused toolbar. Now clear a lot of space in your inventory and pull out a full crate worth of grenades. Place each grenade in a slot in the toolbar.
Ok so our grenades are ready to be used. However we need to be suitably protected so we dont blow up when the creatures do. If you are wearing ANY armour without blast resists (Ubese, Mabari etc) this will not be good. I use composite armour with at least 70% Blast damage protection. Now that you have armour selected, get buffed as you normally do.
WHAT TO KILL
Now we are all prepared to use our grenades, but it is no use unless we know what to kill. Go to either Dathomir or Dantooine. On both of these planets you normally find large solo groups. Get in a group and take missions for creatures that have no blast resists, but still give out good xp. Some examples of these are:
Dantooine
Huurton Stalkers
Pikets
Dathomir
Baz Nitches
Obviously there are more than just these animals that you can hunt with grenades. Ok, take 2 missions for these creatures (it is faster to get them in one direction but you do not have to), switch to your ‘grenade toolbar’ and head to the mission WP.
COMBAT!!!!!
Congratulations, you are almost there. Now all we have to do is destroy the lair (it helps to have mastered an elite combat profession for this). Now, attack the lair before you attack the other creatures (lets imagine that they areHuurton Stalkers). This gets the Huurtons attacking you in a large group. Because attacking a lair gives you a 100% hit ratio, and ALL grenades have a blast radius, you should move close to the mission lair. This means that the pack of Huurtons that is attacking you will follow you and crowd around their lair. Now start throwing ‘nades’. Remember, each grenade has 5 uses, so hit each of the grenades in your toolbar 5 times before going to the next one. The lair and Huurtons will take longer to kill than a normal lair, but if u have mastered an elite combat profession each Huurton killed will give you 5000 Combat XP. After the lair is empty, switch to a normal weapon, as it is a waste of grenades to take the lair out with no real results.
THE NUMBERS
Anybody who has mastered an elite combat profession (especiallya melee one) will find this easy to do. And since your Combat XP will cap out at 300k, it is also a lot quicker than a normal grind.300k Combat XP = 100k FSXP. This means that it is possible to get possibly 500k FS XP done in 1 day.

All you need are four things to solo a Corvette and Star Destroyer.
1) A Mark V Engine with a top Speed of 118.5
2) Droid Program: Engine Overload III or IV*
3) Droid Program: Weapon Capacitor Overcharger III or IV*
4) Droid Program: Capacitor to Shield Shunt IV.
* I use Engine Overload III and Weapon Capacitor Overcharger III because level IV programs causes item decay on your starship parts.
Once you launch into space, load Engine Overload and Weapon Capacitor Overload. If your fighter is fast enough, you should have a speed of over 1400. You dont need a booster, but one is helpful if you get into a tight spot.
Now enter Kessel or Deep Space. As you approach your target accelerate too full speed. You should be moving fast enough that most of their weapons can not hit you. While moving at top speed, target the weapons, shields, etc, and strafe them. Usually two or three passes is enough to destroy a component. Sometimes you will be hit by one or two blasts from the enemy ship. When this happens, use your capacitor to shield shunt before you make your next attack run. With Capacitor Overcharge, more energy is available to replenish your shields.
You do not need to destroy the weapons on these ships, though it does make things easier. All you need to destroy is the Primary and Secondary Shield Generators, the Engine, the Reactor, and the Bridge.
Once you destroy the bridge, the ship will blow up reguardless of shield, armor, system status.
You can also Solo Tier 5 Gunboats in Kessel and Deepspace. Tier 5 Gunboats have a maximum weapons range of about 540 meters. If you fly your ship directly behind the gunboat, match speed and maintain a distance of 540-550 meters, your weapons will be able to damage the gunboat while he wont be able to damage you.
Pay close attention to the movement of the gunboat, as they tend to change course often. This can rapidly close the distance between you and the gunboat bringing you into their weapons range. This is where Capacitor to Shield Shunt really comes in handy.
You can minimize the risk somewhat by targetting the rear fireing weapons first, then target the engines. However, unlike the Corvette or StarDestroyer, you need to bring the gunboats rear shields and armor down before you can start to damage the sub-systems.
If you are declared overt in Space (By talking to a Faction Space Station), you will be rewarded 240 Faction Points per Gunboat.
Thanks a lot hope i get premium!!! yay please no nay!!
Hope this helps you swgnerd thanks!!

Star Destroyer is easy with any ship… Come in from the side, start shoting shield generators when at 500, fly through explosion and take the second one out, circle around and take out the engine from the rear..
Do a half loop and take out the Generator, boost to the center and turn towards the bridge, keep boosting untill you are at 1m from bridge..
Do it right and the cannons cant hit you..
Take out the bridge at your leasure..
Rinse and Repeat..
Corvette’s are easy too, all you really need is to be able to handle the fighter escort..
And make sure you have Mark III Concussion missiles, preferably with dmg range 4500-9000.
Come in slow from the side, target the primary shield generator with a missile, it targets from a range of around 6-700..
Fire, and turn away..
Deal with any fighters comming your way..
Again come from the side, target secondary shield if primary whent down on 1 missile as it should.
Fire and turn away..
Gunboats will ignore you if you dont come any closer..
Take out the engine next, and wait a min or so.
Gunboats will fly around for a bit, then continue on their way.
Vette is dead in the water, and now you should be able to do a strafe run against the reactor, and finaly the bridge..
If your not confident in your piloting skills, you can take these out as well with missiles from a safe distance..
Mission complete..
