Ryatt Trail Afk Leveling
by cow on Jan.06, 2011, under SWG GUIDE
First travel to Kashyyyk and go to the webweaver path on ryatt trail, you may need a friend to help you down there or either an ent buff with kinetic armor / movement speed. Once you are on the webweaver path, go to waypoint -326 -49, then make sure your skills can be fired from toolbar in options. (set auto loot from misc options menu)
1) Put your area attack on the first slot of your toolbar, then make this macro
Call it area
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/pause 1;
/m area;
2) Put a droid on the 2nd slot of your toolbar and make this macro (make sure the droid is cl 30 since your such a low level right now)
Call it droid
/say attack;
/pause .8;
/say follow;
/pause .8;
/m droid
3) Make a 3rd macro to call and store the droid, this is to prevent the battery from dieing so fast and to recall the droid since its going to die a LOT, the blink is to prevent AFK crashes due to inactivity
Call it call
/ui action toolbarSlot01;
/pause 30;
/blink;
/m call;
4) Make a macro that will cycle the targets for your droid to attack make sure your FIELD OF VIEW is maxed so you will be able to see all of the wookies:
Call the macro cycle
/ui action cycleTargetOutward;
/pause 2;
/m cycle;
Tips:
- Before turning on your macros, try to shoot one of the wookies, if it says “Can’t see target” then you are in the tree properly.
- If you are looking to only make money, delete all collection items and save only junk, clothing, armor, and weapons to sell to a junk dealer, I make about 3mil a night with this macro.
- Make sure you are looking straight at the wookies and not anywhere else when you start your macros up.
- If a wookiee is bugged that you DON”T have agro on, your going to have to change instances.
- Get a long exp buff before heading out
- Talk to the Guide up top and get his quest so you can warp back down to the web weaver path after you have been there once.
- Buy a crate of droid batterys before you start
You Must be Any of these proffesions:
Medic(CL 38):
in your expertise you will need to get the following: 2nd page – affliction intensity and affliction duration, they are in the bottom right hand corner, 3rd box up – after you have those 2 boxes, you will need to get evasion in the first page (you wont have enough points to get it right off, you’ll have to level up a few times first.) Your AOE attack is Nerve Gas
6) Once you have enough points to get evasion, put it on slot 3 of your toolbar and make this macro:
Call it eva
/ui action toolbarSlot02;
/pause 1500;
/m eva;
The purpose of evasion here is to loose agro of wookies that are bugged and unattackable, hence why the pause is so long, so you will not loose agro very often on NPCs that currently have your dots.
Bounty Hunter(CL38):
Your AOE attack is Tangle Bomb, once you are lvl 50, you may use 2 AOE attacks, so put Razor Net(your new AOE) into slot 2, and your droid into slot 3, and alter your macros to this:
Call it area
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/pause 1;
/ui action toolbarSlot01;
/pause 1;
/m area;
Call it call
/ui action toolbarSlot02;
/pause 30;
/blink;
/m call;
Commando(CL10):
Your AOE attack is Remote Detonator, Once you get to lvl 46 you will get the E-mag Mine, your second AOE. As the same with Bounty hunter having 2, change your macros to the same as the Bounty hunter macro’s. Commando is best suited for the Grind as the Remote Detonator AOE has the same damage from lvl 10-90.
Smuggler(CL26):
Your AOE attack is Dirty Tricks, This is slow, so once you get to lvl 38, you might want to switch to any of the other two that you can grind from CL38 (medic/Bounty Hunter).
Pub 15 City Defense, Part I
by credits4swg on Mar.25, 2010, under swg characters, SWG Credit Farming Guide, SWG News
I decided to try the City Defense part of Publish 15, and headed to Dearic with my Rebel Bounty Hunter. I got there at the end of the Construction of Reinforcement part of the day, just minutes before the Imperial attack of the city.
The Rebel General was appropriately barricaded.
I was fully buffed and pulled my MagnaGuard Droid, and awaited the attack.
NOTES:
The Imperial attackers were cl 60 and 60 elite, so probably did not need the buff.
All the other Rebels used Super Battle Droids (SBD). No love for the MagnaGuard?
I found the Mandalorian Helmet on the bazaar and snapped it up

‘The crafting session has ended
by credits on Jan.20, 2010, under Uncategorized
The response ‘The crafting session has ended!’ is normal.
Be sure you are not near a Crafting Station or a droid that acts as a Crafting Station. They can cause a loss of resources with no xp or items made.
The ‘no critical failures’ exploit only works with architect items.
Everybody is going to have different schematic numbers. You must experiment to determine yours. Simply start a crafting session manually, type in ‘/selectDraftSchematic 00′ and hit enter. Write down the name of the item selected. Click on ‘BACK’, then ctrl-UP so you don’t have to type the whole thing again. Delete the 00 and type 01… etc. Repeat until you have found all the items you might want to macro craft.
Modify both lines of ‘/createPrototype’ to ‘/createPrototype practice no item’ if you want only the xp (with 5% bonus) and not the items. If you have enough resources, this helps you level up like crazy in the early skills. I did this with survey tools, then with wind generators. Only took a couple hours to make Novice Architect. Having enough resources is the key
SWG Interface Tips
by credits4swg on Nov.23, 2009, under SWG Credit Farming Guide, Swg Credits
Mastering the SWG interface is key to easy gaming (and easy farming of credits? Hehe.) Seasoned SWG veterans know all of the best ways to get the most out of the game interface — do you?
If not, don’t despair — SOE has released a slew of tips for using the SWG interface. Here are some:
Did you know that you can use cut, copy, and paste in game? Kravis tells us how! Press “O” for the Options window, press Keymap, click the All tab, and find the Chat Edit Cut, Chat Edit Copy and Chat Edit Paste commands and assign them a key.
Drashk Dza’lya of TCPrime shares a trick for quickly retrieving items. Items stored in a droid can be instantly retrieved from the toolbar. To do this, drag the item to your toolbar, as normal, so that you can use it. Now, call out any droid that you own that has an Item Storage Module installed. Drag and drop the item over to the droid. You don’t have to open up the droid Item Storage.
When seeking to send the same message to multiple people, start the message as you usually would, but then include a comma (no space) between the names you wish to send it to.

Posted (Da Gamer) in News on July-26-2007
Later this day, all U.S. and European galaxies will be taken down for server maintenance and a live update. Some of the enhancements to be applied which will make the game more fun (and easy to earn credits
):
Missions from combat and bounty hunter terminals are now capped at level 90.
Most over-land world spawn mobs are now capped at level 90.
Most elite mobs on non-adventure planets have been downgraded to “normal”.
Most faction base and “crackdown” factional/Galactic Civil War elite mobs have been downgraded to “normal”.

1) So, first to the preperations. I had an ent buff (armor, ACR and crit. dunno if kin is in DWB, but just to be on safe side i had it). Then i had pups for crit. No medic buffs or heroic set though. So having those would also be advantagous. I had a 3×30 suit with str/camo/stam as well. But after u get started its pretty easy. Get a droid, preferably a combat droid lvl 60. Now, get access to the death watch bunker.
2) So, go down to the first square area where the mandalorians are located. Stay cloaked and call out your droid. Now make him attack one of the mandalorians, until he says soemthing like “Intruder located, I need reinforcements!”. When he says this, pack up your droid again, or wait until hes down.
Now there should spawn more mandalorians that walk into the room. Do the same with these. Then there should spawn a special NPC with a name. so not “bloodguard bla” or whatever theyre called. Rageon Wrath or something was his name if i recall correctly. Now comes the difficult part. You will have to kill him as soon as he spawns, or wait until hes at a position where you wont get agro from other NPCs. It took me one or two tries, but eventually i managed to kill him. If you can’t make it on your own, get a friend to help you, they can leave after he’s dead. Make sure to “Steal” from all NPCs you see on the way. Don’t bother with the droids, since those don’t have anything on them i think. When stealing you should get the same kind of armor loot as if you were killing them (so 20 to 25s, single to quad statted).
3)After you killed the named NPC and got the key, proceed down to the next area where the Shuttle is parked. Do the same as before. Make sure to “steal” all the NPC that appear. If you are confident you can attempt to kill the 2nd named NPC, but its not really needed.
4) After you stole from all of them, move back to the first square. By the time you r done with the 2nd spawn, the NPC from the first one will have dissappeared again.
5)So go back up, and repeat the procedure, but this time you don’t need to kill the named NPC, since you got the access already. Steal from all the NPC, and then go down again. By the time you are done at the top, those at the 2nd square are gone again. Rinse and repeat as long as you like. This got me some good armor loot for RE. Yes, its not THE quickest way, but its a nice comparativly easy way to get armor loot. and since the NPC respawn, you can go on infinitly.
Anyways, dunno if this is still possible or someone posted this already, but i thought this up myself, so dunno if any1 had a similar idea.
Also, theres always a risk that the NPC “catch” you while you try to steal from them (i think it doesnt matter how high your camo is, it happened to me while i had 300 something camo), so be ready to smoke bomb away incase you get caught.

First travel to Kashyyyk and go to the webweaver path on ryatt trail (MAKE SURE YOU ARE A CL 26 SMUGGLER), you may need a friend to help you down there or either a ent buff with kinetic armor / movement speed. Call it loot
/loot corpse;
/m loot;
5) Make a macro that will cycle the targets for your droid to attack make sure your FIELD OF VIEW is maxed so you will be able to see all of the wookiees:
Call the macro cycle
/ui action cycleTargetOutward;
/pause 2;
/m cycle;
6) Once you have reached CL 38, go and respec medic, in your expertise you will need to get the following: 2nd page – affliction intensity and affliction duraiton, they are in the bottom right hand corner, 3rd box up – after you have those 2 boxes, you will need to get evasion in the first page (you wont have enough points to get it right off, you’ll have to level up a few times first.) Then go back to your tree and put the Nerve Gas where your smuggler area attack was.
7) Once you have enough points to get evasion, put it on slot 3 of your toolbar and make this macro:
Call it eva
/ui action toolbarSlot02;
/pause 1500;
/m eva;
The purpose of evasion here is to loose agro of wookiees that are bugged and unattackable, hence why the pause is so long, so you will not loose agro very often on NPCs that currently have your dots.

- Buy a crate of droid batterys before you start
- The smuggler area is very weak, so it takes a while for that one, but when you hit CL 38 and respec medic, exp just flys in

To be able to use this Exploit, you must have completed the Meatlump Quest and have access to the Meatlump Hideout in Coronet, Corellia.
1) Enter the meatlump Hideout and talk to the Meatlump standing against the wall directly opposite the Meatlump King. He will give you a Quest called “Destroy all Non-Security Droids.”
2) Go through the Meatlump Kitchen (first door to the left of the Quest-giver) and proceed to the back left corner and enter the Hatch by radial’ing it with the tilde “~” key.
3) Using your Overhead (HUD) Map, proceed to every room and destroy the Security droids. You are intentionally FAILing this quest, but for good purpose.
Each of the security droids are 1 or 2 hit kills, meaning they are destroyed EASILY. However, these droids still give you excellent XP at an average of 900 to 1800 XP each depending on your current level.
There are approximately 22 Security droids in this instance and it can be completed in 4-5 minutes. That is an average of about 22000 XP each 5 minutes or 264,000 XP an hour.
It is easiest to do with the Jedi Profession simply because of force run. Using Force run to traverse the longer hallways saves much time…especially since the instance is timed to begin with.
A few things to know before running this exploit:
1) The instance can only be solo’d and has a timer of 10 minutes. You will not see the timer, but the system will give you a warning at the halfway point by saying something like, “300 seconds remaining.” If, you are caught in the instance when time runs out, the instance will eject you to the surface, outside the Meatlump hideout. Though this is still close by, it can be a bit annoying having to run all the way back down the Meatlump Hieout to get the quest again.
2) There are a total of about 50 droids (regular and security) in the instance. It IS possible to destroy EVERY droid in the instance and return to the beginning before time runs out. Doing this will double more than double the amount of XP you gain each trip, but also doubles the time you spend in the instance. I personally destroy everything (as a Dark Side Jedi I deal enough damage to dispatch the droids quickly).
3) All droids are in static locations, so after a few runs you should be able to memorize the locations of every security droid in the instance and have a pattern to get to them quickly.
4) After destroying 2 security droids the quest will update saying you have failed, but you still have the remaining time to continue your spree of destruction, so use it.
5) You enter the instance by radial’ing the hatch, and you must exit the instance by radial’ing the ladder and choosing “ascend Ladder” or by radial’ing and pressing 1.
When you leave the instance head straight back to the quest-giver and talk to him twice; first to indicate that you failed, and secondly to pick up the quest again.
it DOES get extremely Repetitive and Boring, but used in combination with the Combat Ent Quest trick, you should be able to level your combat toon in about 4 to 5 days.
